I am 18 years old and was just diagnosed with HSV-2. My (now ex) boyfriend never told me that he had anything. It was a really hurtful and devastating. I went to the doctor, and she prescribed Valtrex. The only problem was that the drug was $500 for pills that lasted me 10 days to clear up the outbreak. My parents insurance won't cover it, plus my parent's are so upset with me that they won't help me out. Is there any kind of medical program that will assist someone like me, get the medication that I need? Thanks for your help!
